Rock On!

Whether around the coast or high in mountains, rocks can have the most amazing colours, shapes and textures. I try to photograph rock in soft light so that the texture and detail is preserved. A bright blue sky above can add an interesting blue cast to rocks in the shade which contrasts nicely with warm tones.
