Trees & Woodland

Trees - from a forest to single trees, or intimate close-ups of bark and leaves, trees have always been a rich source of Nature's beauty. The piece of bristlecone pine on the left shows a strong blue colour from the sky above.

Woods and forests are also home to shrubs, ferns and other plants and of course fungi. I have shown some of these other woodland inhabitants in this gallery
